Student Awards

A range of academic, sporting, cultural, service and special awards are presented to students throughout the school year.

St Mary's Campus - Prep to Year 6 students are able to be nominated by their Class Teacher for "Weekly Awards".  These awards focus on different aspects of behaviour and application to classwork.  Awards are presented at a Campus Assembly each week.

Mt Carmel Campus - Students in Years 7 to 12 are acknowledged for their involvement in Sporting and Cultural events as well as academic competitions at Year Level and Campus Assemblies through the school year.  At the end of term, a special assembly is conducted to present 'Certificate of Academic Encouragement' and 'Community Service' awards.  All Teaching Staff are asked to submit student nominations for these awards.  Students are also able to nominate themselves for a Community Service award via a nomination sheet made available in the main office toward the end of each term.  (A pdf version of this nomination sheet is also available in the 'Downloadable Documents' page of this web site.)  Nominations close at 9.00am on the second last Thursday of each term.

College - The annual College Awards Night is traditionally held late in October.  A full range of Academic, Sporting, Cultural and Special Awards are presented at this formal occasion.  (For more details, view the pdf document entitled "Awards Night Handbook" included in the 'Downloadable Documents' page of this web site.)
